More reasons to exercise–for your brain!

November 8th, 2007 by Carol Woodliff

Just saw this op-ed piece in the NY Times, Exercise on the Brain. I’m always looking for reasons to remind me that exercise is important. If you’ve every had those moments where you realize that your thinking isn’t as focused or clear as it used to be–maybe it is time to hit the gym!

I just joined Curves and one of the things I’m going to like is them calling me as a reminder to come to the gym if I don’t show up one week. I have my first workout on Monday and I’m honestly excited to get my behind off the couch and moving again. As one of my co-workers keeps reminding me, exercising may help stave off dementia.
