Karen and I agreed we’d post some “before” pictures. It took me almost a month to post mine. It’s almost as though if I didn’t post pictures, I wouldn’t have to look at myself. Isn’t it interesting how we often don’t recognize how far out of control our weight has gotten until you see a photo. It’s almost as though our minds don’t really register what we see in the mirror but we see that photo and we say–wow I didn’t know I looked like that!
These two pictures were taken by my friend Julie one day when we were in Laguna. I was looking for some casual shots to put on our website. Unfortunately the first one drove home just how much weight I have to lose! (Cringe!) Most people throw these pix out. I’m posting it on my frig as a reminder to stick to my program!
The next photo taken the same day is better. Camera angle is more flattering. My posture is better so “the girls” are not sagging! I like the hair down better in this picture. But still there’s weight to lose here! When I get a chance I’ll scan in some of my acting shots so you’ll see just how far I’ve let myself go!

GULP. Here are mine. I did not realize we had been avoiding posting these this long until I read what Carol wrote above.
This one was taken on the 4th of July. Note to self - white pants are NOT slimming. Neither is the angle of this shot (or my head in it!).
This one has us both in it - hope that’s OK Carol! It was taken on 7/26 at our Spa Charity night. I am glad I did not have to stand next to Cari, our beautiful (and slimmer) esthetician. You can also see that Brian looks pretty slim, too on the end there.

I too will find some from past slim times, so you can compare and see where I am going again. About 2 years ago, I was down to 168. I plan to be there again by my birthday in October.

Gee Karen thanks for another shot that should definitely go on the refrigerator. LOL!
I promised some old photos to show you what my memory of myself is like. These are old Acting headshots so they are in black and white.

I’m not trying to look like my 29 or 36 year old self. I’m trying to find what the healthy 46 year old version of me looks like! And to think I used to think I was overweight in those pictures. How sad! That Carol didn’t even know how fine she looked!
